Question about Grub

I currently run a dual boot system, Ubuntu and XP. If I were to upgrade my Windows OS, will I have to reinstall the Grub bootloader, because of the Windows bootloader. Or will Grub stay installed and able to find Windows and Ubuntu?

Install windows.

Download and burn SGD (Super Grub Disk)

Boot via SGD after windows is ok. It will auto write the new grub for u.

I hope u can make it.

If u are new to all this, better backup all data first, before installing any thing on your hard.
