View Full Version : [all variants] Where can I write GRUB during install?

Is there an option where to install GRUB (MBR or only chosen partition) or whether install it at all? Because I have a multiboot system with 3 OSes and don't want to change main bootloader (it's Chameleon at the moment).

It's OK for me to not to install GRUB at all. So after that I can load from LiveUSB and install it manually. But I need an opportunity to choose that :)

If I remember correctly, the boot loader options are hidden behind the 'advanced' button on the final 'ready to install' screen (screen 8 out of 8 ). That's if you're doing a normal gui install.

Are there number of screens written somewhere? Just not want to pass the last possible screen where I can say "No, please, don't want to install this whole thing".

Yes, the last screen (with the 'advanced' button) says 'page 8 of 8', and it's titled 'ready to install'.
