I have used Hardy and Intrepid. During their installation, I didn't face any problems. With that in mind, I chirpily started installing Jaunty using Wubi. There was sufficient space in the D drive, so I selected it. When the installation wizard showed the "creating virtual disks" message, I thought the installation would be over soon. But I waited for eons with anything happening. When I checked, space in the C drive was depleted and it ran out of space.

Now, my question is: why would Wubi need space in the C drive when it is supposed to install Ubuntu in the D drive? Also, can't I use the D and E drives, where I have acres of space?
