I'm looking for a good print shop or printing graphics program. For making greeting cards, business cards. stuff with boarders and that kind of thing. Anyone have any ideas and where to get it?

I'm not sure if there's a specific program like printshop available in ubuntu.

but greeting cards is doable with inkscape.

Did you try gLabels (http://glabels.sourceforge.net/), a label and business card program for GNOME?

sudo apt-get install glabels (apt://glabels)

Thanks guys, I think inkscape is close to what I am looking for.

Edit: Played with it. Works great! Thanks! My wife will be extremely happy! :D

Another very basic option would be OpenDraw (from the OpenOffice suite). This one admittedly is much more basic, but I have found it to be great for creating worksheets and basic cards, etc.
