Hi,

Im looking to install the new beta firefox but it comes in tar.bz2 file format, and I've got no idea what to to do with it from there.
Can someone please tell me what I type in the terminal window to get it to install?

Thanks,

Foo

There is a mozilla daily builds repo for firefox 3.5, it's somewhere on the forums and can be run alongside normal firefox

I have heard, and agree that it is "Highly" recommended to have two profiles if you are using both FF versions,

Just type "firefox -ProfileManager" into Terminal to create a new "beta Test" one.

FWIW, all I do in unpack it, move it to a "Firefox Beta" directory and create a desktop launcher on the "firefox" shell script.
