I recently upgraded from 8.10 >>-> 9.04.
when I try to run gnome-terminal through ssh it fails to open and I get this error message: "Failed to contact the GConf daemon; exiting."
I haven't had this problem before and it doesn't occur on any of the other applications I've tried to run remotely.
It also occurs even when gconfd is already running for other applications.
