dear gurus how are you
i have installed couple of days before ubuntu 9.04 on windows to make pc dual boot and run as application
then for my kids, i installed edubuntu games and educational software
and it has been working fine 2 days. today i were working on ubuntu suddenly it get down due to power failure machine shutoff. when we restart we notice ubuntu is not booting.
it was all complete new/fresh installation no updrades
now it says
/hosts/ubuntu/disks/root.disk can not fine file
how ever when i boot from windows xp i see on same location the this file is in original status
and it show prompt
initramfs>
can you advise me can i fixed anyway somehow, what are the alternate options and all possible ways to fixed this.
since this is happend to me first time and no idea of command line much
