I just Intsalled ubuntu onto my Sony Vaio laptop and all seems to be working fine.
The only problem is i cannot get into the internet. It seems my wireless card is not being read/used/identified. I have the Belkin N1 MIMO Wireless Notebook Card.
All other forums i read so far just tell me how to enable the wireless, yet i cant even enable the wireless. I also heard that this might be due to the fact that ubuntu can't use the drivers for this card, but surely there must be something i can do to connect wirelessly to the internet.
Help would be greatly appreciated,
Sincerely Marki

Here is a page that might help you: http://pclinuxoshwdb.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=938&Itemid=1

Go to System -> Administration -> Windows wireless drivers and browse to the location where you extracted the .inf and .sys file and install the drivers.

Post back if you get stuck.
