for Intel core 2 Duo 9.04 i386.iso or amd64.iso?

hi I have 2 (newbie) questions:
1 Now I have Fedora10 installed. can install over or I have to erase the HD?
2 I have a Vaio FW21E with intel core 2 duo (64bit). what image should I use 9.04 i386 or amd64?

AMD64 works for both Intel EMT64 and AMD 64-bit. So you can download the amd64 version.

You can install over the Fedora installation. Ubuntu will offer to resize the partition so they can co-exist peacefully, if you'd like
