I have an HP TX2500 Tablet PC with a Wacom tablet screen. I have tried hard to set up the tablet features, but in vain. I would appreciate if you could walk me through the steps about how to set up the pen features and all the other features of the tablet. Also, if you could recommend any good programs that work with tablet features, that would be appreciate as well.

Thanks

Hi linuxneeewb,

If you go here you will find step by step instructions: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1038949 It may look a little overwhelming at first but if you read through it you'll see it has been broken down fairly well. Ask if you have questions. Since you have Jaunty after you look over the first HOW TO go back up to the top and read Jaunty Users. Just be sure to read through it and get a handle on things before starting. You shouldn't have to compile the drivers, you should use the ones that come with Jaunty. You do have to compile 0.8.3-2 just to get the kernel driver wacom.ko (used by usb tablets like yours).

I think you would probably want Xournal and CellWriter at a minimum.
