I have made several attempts to upgrade to 9.04. I use ndiswrapper to install and load my windows wireless driver. In earlier versions of Ubuntu this has been successful in getting me on the Internet.
With 9.04 it can see my wireless WEP encrypted network. However the network manager hangs when attempting to the Internet. When I click on the network icon Ubuntu freezes and I have to use the power button to shut off the computer. Has anyone been able to find a fix or workaround for this issue?
