Flash Help

[Trafficflow]

I need to install a flash player. Am I limited to Adobe or is there a alternative? I did some research and it looks like there is issues on the load. I searched on synaptic and it found one entry and it is flashplugin-nonfree-extrasound. I take it there is a fee. If I go with adobe what is the correct way to install?
Need help on this one.

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
2. Restart firefox.
