I recently installed UbuntuStudio Jaunty on my pc, where I previously had UbuntuStudio 8.04 and several other versions of *buntu. I'm experiencing a really serious kernel fault right after the installation. When I try to install some packages from the GUI, the system hangs for a while, then it freezes (no way to press Ctrl-alt-F1 or so). This is the output I get when I try dpkg from the console:

In this case, I was installing openoffice.
The same problem (system hangs & freezes) occurs after a while (10 minutes or so) while I'm surfing on firefox. Seems to be a serious bug in the -rt version of the kernel. Any ideas? Shall I open a bug report?
