I have a dell inspiron 1545 and i made everything in my hand to be able to use the webcam which is equiped with. I had no success in 8.10, although i read a lot of ppl who had the same problem.
When 9.04 was released, in the new features it said it would be better with webcams, so i got excited... finally my webcam would work and i wont have the need to boot my windows partition to use it.
Unfortunately, i can't make it work.
Is anybody else experimenting this same problem with the webcam?
