hi,

i've installed ubuntu 904 to my usb harddisk. But here is a problem about booting.

It falling to console because of root file system did not found. Kernel on boot disk is starting perfectly. While bootin it LOSTS connection with usb disk. It could be fixed with adding rootdelay kernel option and reconnecting the cable while it waiting for root file system.

I think kernel is broken. I did see same problem in very different systems in forum.

Thanks.

Hi again,

The problem is this guys if you dont understand, Ubuntu is not detecting my USB device on first time of starting the kernel. It is not a hardware problem. Because I've installed Debian before. Debian was running without any problem but needed to turn back to Ubuntu. Is there a different build of kernel to identify my USB disk?

Sory for my English, Thanks.
