I have about 100 x86 boxes which I'm preparing to donate to a local charity. I need a quick way to wipe the HD's before I send them out the door. The recipient is going to do the linux install.

There's nothing terribly critical on any of them, so they don't need to be DoD wiped - just a quick erase will do.

Here's the thing - I don't have time or space to set up each one with a monitor, etc, and hold its hand while it erases. Is there a cd that I can just boot with to automatically wipe the drive, eject and shut down when it's done, no user intervention required?

I imagine this could be scripted but I lack the skills to do it myself. Any assistance will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Any pointers on how to configure dban the way I want it? I didn't see any editable config files in the package.
