OK I'm sure this has been posted a thousand times before, but I can't seem to find one regarding upgrading the kernel from 2.6.24 to 2.6.28.
I need the 2.6.28 because a patch to the AHCI driver allows me to run a Promise T3 SATA controller.
If someone could please provide a link to a guide, or perhaps another thread that deals with this topic that would be awesome.
