I have Windows XP/Home on my HP Mini 1030 Netbook. It is equipped with a 16GB SSD (13GB in use) and a 16GB SD card that is empty (FAT32, 16,127,066,112 bytes free).
I would like to install the Netbook Remix on the Mini using dual-booting, so I can choose between Windows and Ubuntu at boot time; also, I'd like to install it on drive E: ... the SD card.
(1) I'm a Ubuntu novice, and not familiar with the command structure, etc., of Linux.
(2) I've downloaded ubuntu-9.04-netbook-remix-i386.img, although I'm not sure that is really what I need.
(3) I did this with 8.04 ... it was an easy install, and the prompts were easy to follow.
(4) So, can I do this with 9.04 Netbook Remix? If so, do I use the .img file previously cited, or some other file?
