Flash starts to lag after about a minute after upgrading to Jaunty

After doing an internet upgrade to Jaunty from Intrepid, Flash in Firefox started doing something a little strange: Flash videos from every site play perfectly for about 50 to 110 seconds, and then the video part freezes, while the audio keeps going. Every 10 seconds or so, the video will start to catch up to the sound, but it never corrects itself. :confused:

Flash worked fine in Intrepid, is there a way I can fix this?

that is also my problem, and in addition vlc freezes afterwards my account was automatically logs off. my laptop becomes sluggish as well after the upgrade especially the graphics in which in the Intrepid all this things are doing fine. can't do 3d graphics as well
