I installed ubuntu 'inside windows'.. getting my feet wet -
I go to places and choose computer and the files that appear are on a D: drive (second hard drive that is in my system that I use just for backup). My windows system is installed on my C: drive and that is where Ubuntu folder is also located. WHY can't I see my C: drive?
I fiddled around and brought up dolphin - Saw root and selected it.. I could see my C: drive files.. then not sure what I clicked but when I tried again a while later selecting root showed my D: drive again.. what the ?
IS there something I am supposed to 'mount' so that I can see these files on my C: drive?
george
