I have a problem with upgrading to 9.04. The Upgrade manager is telling me it can not find the cdrom with 7.04 However why is the software looking for that cd while I am running Release 8.04 With the Kernel Linux 2.6.24-24-generic? I did upgrade last year from 7.04 to 8.04 without any problem.
I get the same error message when I try to upgrade to 8.10 as intermediate to get to 9.04. Furthermore I have the same problem with my notebook computer running 8.10 there the software can also NOT find the Cdrom when I try to upgrade to 9.04.
Besides that the cd's ARE in the cdrom's in both my desktop AND my notebook with the correct version.
