Pidgin disappears when loading!

I tried searching the forums and I couldn't find anything specific on a fix on pidgin. But when I click pidgin it tries to load and disappears. And when I try to delete my libpurple file it will work. Until I put in an account then it will do the same thing again. A fix would be nice since I need to get my xfire back up so I can talk to people. Thanks.

try to run pidgin -n from the terminal, and then enable one account at a time to see if it's your xfire account that's crashing pidgin. If it is, you need to report a bug against the xfire people.
