I have a Linux Mint/Windows XP dual boot. I'd like to get rid of the Mint and replace it with the latest version of Ubuntu. I'm hoping the newest version will work with my sound card as Mint currently does not. I'm on an Asus N10J Netbook. Thanks for any help offered.

Just mark the partitions to be formated when you get to the partition section of the installation. To mark the current partitions for formatting, you have to select manual partitioning.

I finally have access to high speed internet. I downloaded the 9.04 iso, burned it to my external CD R/W, set my little netbook to boot from this drive and it still boots up into Linux Mint. What am I doing wrong? I really want to put the newest version of Ubuntu in place of Mint. Any help would be appreciated.
