View Full Version : [ubuntu] After installing Jaunty I get no more S-video

So I read that the fglrx driver won't work with this new version of xorg, so I'm guessing that's the reason why my s-video will not longer automatically work. What's the insane workaround that I must do now in order to get my s-video to work? I can't seem to find one on the forum that works.

I have a Dell Latitude D610, using an ATI Mobility Radeon X300. I tried installing the fglrx driver, and that's when I learned it doesn't work at all (had to go into recovery mode to remove it).

*bump* I'd really like to get s-video working, and still can't find a proper solution on the Internets.

This thread is "featuring" most of the ATI/AMD Radeon issues - no further info but it looks like an "X" problem:
