After upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04 I have blinking gnome panels after logon. At first, just after logon desktop with icons and panels was loaded correctly. But in a few seconds icons is disappeared and panels start to blink every half a second. If I press Alt-F2, the dialog window is opened but disappear too after next panel winking. I absolutely cannot work.
I've done a three top's snapshot with a 5sec period. Maybe someone will notice something unusual.

I was going to install new system on the additional harddisk and move my files from the broken system to it. So I add new disk on the second channel and boot to my first system. Panels didn't not wink anymore! I disconnent the disk - panels are winking.
I forgot about my flash-drive connected to the back of my pc. I disconnected it and panels work smoothly now. I've inserted another stick with the same result.
