Hello.

Ubuntu 8.04,8.10,9.04 won't install on my computer. As a matter of fact, it freezes after I click on install or run Ubuntu live after the screen where there is the Ubuntu logo with a dial shifting from left to right.

Here are my computer specs and I am sorry for the fact that I am an Ubuntu newb. I have been adamant about installing Ubuntu but it is not adamant about installing itself on my computer.

My computer runs Debian 5, Linux Mint 5 KDFE. What is it about the new version of GNOME that makes it so I wont be able to run it. Any help would be appreciated.
