Hello everybody,
I'm new to Linux and I seek your help getting this problem resolved:
while trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 I'm asked to choose the partitioning method for the installation.
The problem is that Ubuntu installer doesn't recognize Windows Vista presence and I get only one option to use the entire drive for Ubuntu installation (installes says: no operating found on this computer, while I have Windows Vista installed on drive C:!)
I dont want to loose my Vista yet and make a dual booting mode...
I have drive C: with Vista, D: with stuff and in addition I've prepared 20GB of unallocated free space on my HDD for Ubuntu installation.
Maybe something wrong with the MBR? How do i make the installer "see" my currently installed operating system?
Thank you in advance,
