I tried to update Ubuntu yesterday, but there was some crap about the graphics, and it would just load into the brown screen. So then I tried to re-install Vista, thinking I might try to get my Zune to work again . . . that wouldn't install. But now, when I try to boot into the Ubuntu installation-CD, I get a message about Caldera-DOS and how the system memory manager ( EMM386.EXE ) has encountered an error. It will not boot into the CD. Any idea how to fix this?
