Hey all!
First of all, let me say that I'm a total beginner at ubuntu and linux, so I ask you to keep eventual replies simple. Now, onto the issue at hand. Used the network proxy settings (under system, preferences) to set ubuntu to use the proxy settings at school. They are http: 192.168.96.1 and port 80. Later today I turned the settings back to direct internet connection, but whenever I try to do somethin through the terminal (sudo apt-get install wine) it says connecting to 192.168.96.1 for a long time, before either failing or freezing up. Any idea what to do?
