Before upgrading to 9.04 I tought I should try the live cd first. The splash screen was low resolution and very pixelated. After that my screen went black with a few colored lines at the top. I can hear the sound at startup but just got a black screen.
The second time I tried startup in safe mode I got gnome working but with the wrong resolution. I only have 1024x768 and 800x600. My screen has a resolution of 1680x1050.
The screen resolution wasn't also supported by the opensource driver in 8.10.
Is there a chance that I can do a fresh install with succes?
I have a HD2600 pro agp. This card should supported by the 9.4 ati driver.
