View Full Version : [ubuntu] No CD-Boot neither USB-Boot after upgrade!

Hello everybody,
since I've upgraded my system from Intrepid to Jaunty my laptop can no more boot from LiveCD or USB-Device!
Detail: of course I've changed the boot mode on my BIOS, but it does not work!
I'd be thankful for each help!

Where the BIOS looks for boot info is hardware, has nothing to do with the OS on the HD.

that is clear for me, but why have it happened when I upgraded my system?
in spite of that, can you help me?

Hello everybody,
I tried to boot my notebook from a XP CD without hard disk and it worked. That means that my hardware is not damaged.
Can anyone give me some help?
