i sent a thread last friday about installation of red hat 9 on my system. i was finally able to partition my system . i realised that after the partition my system became slower.
now to the main story. during installation of the red hat at the point where it would ask one to choose between automatic or manual in chosing the partition for the installation. on my first occassion i chose manual immediately a dialogue came up telling me it could not see my harddisk then i tried the automatic the same message came up again .
i decided to talk to a friend about it and he told me i had to do with SATA technology of the harddisk .
PLEASE CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A MEANS TO SOLVING THIS PROBLEM.
