need help with smartcard reader

keeps saying no media,using jaunty+all available updates,is there drivers for device? how about format compatibility with blackberry,just trying to put mp3 on blackberry using micro sd card from phone,sandisk 4gb,uses adapter to fit sd slot on computer,have no problem with card on blackberry,only with computer reading card,recently switched from vista and maybe my computer doesnt have drivers for the 9 in 1 cardreader device?
