I just finished an update from 8.04 to 8.10 (well sort of), and during the restart, the computer seems to have frozen at a screen that has the Ubuntu logo and what I assume is a progress bar at the bottom. The bar has yet to do anything, and I've been waiting for approximately 20 minutes. My question is: is it normal for the restart after an upgrade to be this slow, and would it be okay for me to press that shiny green button on the front of my computer and restart it myself? If not, any thoughts?
Thanks in advance~
