Okay, here's the scenario..... I have a Dell 1525 that works great with 8.04. I burned and booted off a 9.04 CD to see what would work and what I might have issues with if I were to upgrade...

After booting off the CD, I found that wireless is WAY better than in 8.04 but then I noticed that Rythmbox doesn't start. I click on it and it says 'starting' but never does. Any idea on how to troubleshoot that or is it becuase I was running off a CD?

Next thing I found was that CHeese is gone. Was it replaced with something else? Maybe once I upgrade their won't be problems with Rythmbox and CHeese? Is an upgrade a better way to go becuase I was thinking of just doing a clean install.....

Thanks in advance!

Hi wgarider.

Cheese needs to be installed After you install the system.

Don't know about rythmbox.

THanks for the info. If I can get the Rythmbox issue figured out, I'll be all set!

I've never tried rythmbox from a live cd.

Maybe if you plug in a usb with tunes on it.
