haha, this makes me think of a prank i pulled at work a while back:

i hid all icons & the start bar. my wallpaper was an html file with black bg, gray lucida console txt:

KEYBOARD NOT FOUND PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE

i set it up, went away from desk for a while, and i came back to see IT replacing my keyboard. :)

Reminds me of a prank MS-DOS program I saw a few years back that presented an obviously fake C> prompt, and which "talked back" to anyone gullible to type something in. A refinement I threw together made it respond to the "CD", "EXIT" and a couple of other commands and to change the prompt to what it would have been if the user had done a "prompt $p$g" (sorry I've lost the source)

I used to use Windows and collected a lot of errors (well, more like glitches than anything else). I made a list of just some of the glitches:

Well, to be fair, Ubuntu has at least one funny one:

chris@chris-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg
[sudo] password for chris:
The program 'apt-get' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install apt

This is an actual error that I got while trying an old Win7 beta on a VM.
All I was trying to do was opening the device manager on a clean installation.
