Graphical Interface Problem: Screen flashing repeatedly and unusable

Hi guys. I recently upgraded to Jaunty, and came over a serious bug. Screen refreshes all the time, it looks like it cant find the right resolution. This makes the whole system unusable, as I cant do anything. GNOME is my desktop environment, and my videocard is Nvidia GeForce 9800GTX+

I'm using the driver nvidia-glx-173, but this occured with nvidia-glx-180 aswell. Any suggestion is much appriciated.

Hi All,

I have the same problem after I have started for Jaunty. My graphic card is also NVDIA Geforce 7400... and running with version 180... Aftee a while my screen starts flashing and ı see fm NVDIA settings that resolution refreshes itself without any reason ??

Any comment on this...???
