When should we expect for Ubuntu 9.04 Intel 64b version to be available?

Thanks.

Take the AMD64. The 64 bit extensions were originally created by AMD and the implemented by Intel. As a result the extensions are called amd64 on both systems.

if you mean ia64 itanium then they ought to be in http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/9.04/ but you may have to make do with http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/daily-live/20090421/

if you mean a consumer 64bit CPU made by intel (core 2, i7 etc) see

Thank you for your responses. :P

I can't take AMD64. I can't upgrade to AMD64 because it doesn't show up in my Update Manager, so i thought i shouldn't try to force and install it from CD.

If AMD64 is compatible with my Intel 64 system why it doesn't show up to my update manager?

Thanks.
