Here's the scenario:

I have Jaunty installed on my internal hard drive, and I've been using it for a fair few years now. Recently I used remastersys (http://www.geekconnection.org/remastersys/remastersystool.html) to make a backup of my install, and now I want to install this .iso onto my external hard drive. However, I don't have any DVDs to burn the iso onto, so I was wondering if there was a way to install the .iso onto my external hard drive from inside ubuntu.

All help appreciated :D

Hmm, I don't have a flash drive unfortunately. Would it be possible to split the .iso up into CD sized parts, and do a multi-CD installation?
