I get this message everytime I open the wubi.exe from the CD. I press Continue (Fortsett. Sorry about the moonspeak) a couple of times and the ubuntu menu opens (I've tried the versions x, k and mythbuntu, but it's all the same, but xubuntu is the only I got this far with) then when I press install inside windows I get the message again. I Press try again (Prøv på nytt, again sorry) a few times and it installs all the way to 99%. Then I get this message:

Yes it says uninstall, but the exact same message came during install and after the files are on the HDD but I can't boot to ubuntu. Also this unables me to remove it :(. I've read the file it tells me about, I understand nothing about it though... I can copy paste it for you but it's a huge wall of text.

I have never tried any different OS but windows, and I've had windows for 13 years now. So I have no clue of what to do.

EDIT:

The HDD is a NTFS partition, if it makes a difference

So now I just tried to install Ubuntu on my laptop instead. No problems, and it's currently rebooting. The what now in something something is this schnitzel?

Edit: I'm talking to my self here and it's getting embarrassing

Hi;

I'm new to UBUNTU. I had no problem with the release 8.10 install, but I get the same "Exception Processing Message c000001313 Parameters 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c " error too. Mine occurs as soon as the CD is read from Windows XP PRO.
