Not sure if this is the best place to post this but seems as good a place as any.

I'm running Jaunty 64bit / Gnome / nVidia restricted driver.

I've been playing with transparency for ALL windows using the Opacity, Brightness and Saturation plugin in Compiz Settings Manager.

All seems to work well except for when I try and use user switch (other account is default desktop effects).

Switching works, but when trying to switch back to my user, the one with transparency for all windows, rather than draw the locked screen 'page' it just comes up completely white (all be it with some transparency :P). The mouse cursor shows and I can indeed enter my password to get back to my desktop then it redraws fine.

I'm wondering if anyone has come across this and has a workaround or whether I should consider reporting a bug.

Cheers.

Bumpity bump. No-one has come across this while pimping out their desktop?

Still haven't found a work around for this, bar actually turning off compiz transparency for windows.
