I was turning off a few services in the Boot-Up Manager, then I installed xfce4 and logged out to log back in using xfce, but after I hit log out, all I get is a black screen with the little 'watch' icon as my mouse. I can move the mouse around, so its not frozen, and if I ctrl+alt+backspace, it goes to text quickly, then back to the same thing. I've tried restarting and going to a root term and trying to start x from there, but that doesnt work. Any idea what I might have broken and how to fix it? I'm running ubuntu on an asus eee900ha
