I am a newbie to ubuntu... just wanted to know if there are any mirrors to the latest version available on Rapidshare? Thanks..

Thanks guys for the help, I noticed my connection was poor which is why I was experiencing low speeds...

I downloaded from one of the mirrors and got it locked at 1mb/s :)

You should download using a Bitorrent client such as µTorrent (http://www.utorrent.com/).

If you use bittorrent, you will be able to download faster, and also gives a peace of mind knowing that your downloaded file is not corrupted. (Bittorrent always checks with the original for integrity)
