I am a fairly new ubuntu user, and I am replacing my old (5+ years) dual boot windows xp/ubuntu 8.10 computer fairly soon going for a ubuntu-only set-up, and a friend of mine has a graphics card that I can have for free. It's an Asus nvidia GTX260 896MB card, and I was just wondering if there are any drivers for it in Ubuntu 9.04?

Closed Source Drivers are available from Nvidia:

You probably won't need em unless you're planning on gaming or 3D stuff.
