I'm trying to put Ubuntu--the latest CD (DL'ed the ISO and burned the CD yesterday)--on some older systems, but can't get it to detect the old ISA network cards I'm using. Specifically, I've got an AME 2976053900 (a Novell NE2000 clone), a 3Com Etherlink III 3C509 and a couple of Networth 1032's that I plug in, watch light up and the install won't detect 'em. The 3Com is particularly frustrating, as drivers for it came standard with Windows 98. How do I go about getting Ubuntu to recognize this hardware?
