View Full Version : [ubuntu] Unwanted session restore

When I boot into Ubuntu it loads a specific session including Firefox, Pidgin, Rhythmbox, a terminal and a Nautilus window, which slows the boot and is a waste of my time. It is a state I had shut down in, but it's not one I want. In Startup Applications (formerly Sessions) the "Automatically remember running applications..." box is unticked.

I have reinstalled my / partition already due to a mess up with fglrx, and the problem persists, so I know the problem is with a file in /home, not Jaunty itself. I assume if I can find the rogue file I can just edit or delete it, but I have no idea where to look.

Can anyone help me please?
