Can't Install Jaunty on Dell 1525

OK...I installed Jaunty Alpha 6 and it worked fine.

Now I'm trying to install Jaunty final but I can't go beyond step 3. It shows the following error.


??? ???

Yes.. That's the error I get. I even tried Hardy Disk but the same error. I think there is something wrong with my HDD partition table.

What is the ??? ??? mysterious error all about?

If you install jaunty alpha and have kept up to date with all the updates then you are running the final release already.

I know I'm running final release...But I wanted to install amd64 version.

Anyway I've solved the problem..The cause was a one Extended NTFS partition.
Deleted that and Ubiquity worked fine.

I have an Inspiron 1525 - I would like to install Jaunty but have been holding back because I wasn't sure about support for some of the features that I need. Specifically, does the built-in camera work, the broadcom wireless adaptor and did you happen to try out Rythmbox?

If I knew all that worked, I install it right away!

Yes, everything works out of box.
