Wubi 9,04 Installation doesn't start

Hello Guys,

have download the wubi installer "wubi.exe", when I want start the exe nothing happens.

Can somebody help me ?

Have installed Windows XP SP3

Hi, try re-downloading the wubi.exe again and try starting it.

There seem to be some issues with wubi & 9.04, not everyone has been able to use it successfully. A couple of bug reports have been filed at launchpad. There are other threads on the topic. Good luck!

I have win vista and I have the same problem.
I was able to use the installer on a xp, sp3, but not on my vista...
please help me...

I have the same problem on an old desktop:
MS-6368 Micro-ATX Mainboard
504Mb Ram
Intel Celeron 1066MHz [x86 Family 6 Model 11 Stepping 1]
Windows 98SE.


I have already tryed a lot of thing to get ubuntu -including clean the cd drive lens and try unetbootin- but no one work.

Please help
