Hi theres!

i've tried to set my laptop resolution to it's normal resolution: 1280:800

trough the nvidia-settings i'm able to do so, but when i log-out or restart my laptop, the resolution is back to the awful 800x600.

does anyone know how to solve this problem?

this is the content of my xorg.conf file:

Have you checked this out

sudo gedit /etc/modules

Its all the modules that start up. My theory is that you configure something there to stop it from reseting. I did something similir with my athreos driver( it wouldn't start up from the custom driver I had set-up and had to add it to the modules list).
