I installed 8.10 got all recommended upgrades nothing else added.
I then upgraded to 9.04 and it won't boot.
so I tried downloading the 9.04 disk.
checked it with md5 came out ok... burned it to disk
then checked the disk for defects and it goes to a black screen with a prompt and never does anything. left it for a few hours still nothing
burned new disk same thing
any ideas
